Feeling your muscles work can be deeply grounding. The weight in your hands, the tension, the effort you can feel through your whole body. For many autistic people, that clear physical feedback is calming, a kind of anchor.
@FitnessEmpiree Facts. Everyone’s too busy wondering if they’re using the equipment next to you to care how you look. Just get in, train, and mind your business.
@timmyhasagoatee Being lean gives you the physique without making your entire life revolve around staying stage-ready. Shredded is a temporary condition, not a lifestyle.
@analographist_ Exactly. That’s why informed decisions matter. We’re all taking some level of risk—the goal is to understand the risks and benefits as best as we can.
@TimothyBCE I’m with you on questioning long-term safety. But “paleo has a four-million-year track record” isn’t exactly a clinical study. We can question GLP-1s without turning evolution into a randomized trial.
@Oxandrolonely That’s fair. The risk of obesity itself is huge too, which is why I’m not against GLP-1s. I’m just saying we should be honest about what we still don’t know long term.
@77bncvbsdcg Exactly. We know a lot about them already, but decades-long data is a different story. I’d rather be cautious than assume we know every long-term consequence.
