I had my first paper (2nd author) published! It's special, because in 09 I presented my BA thesis resrch at a confrnc on migration at York Univ, which is where this journal (Refuge) is based. That was the 1st time I could see myself as a migration researcher, and now here I am!

@KaylaHawley6 @UpaliNanda I think we can be more curious too about what creates feelings of calmness in urban spaces. I think it's tied to light, sound, texture, color- not just an idea of nature. I am thinking of the places I feel calm in #Detroit like the #DIA
