Exposing human cost of Commbank serious, systemic misconduct. Advocate, activist. Cool for bankers to earn huge wages except at the cost of vulnerable citizens
You have to read this @adele_ferguson story. It is superb ... and appalling. ‘Why would you torment a dying person and their family?' https://t.co/a8aqKMzo3m via @smh
Because you've written the rules and gamed the system since Adam was a boy. It is your birthright to avoid responsibility for the collateral consumer damage when achieving your bonuses. #bankingRC
AFSA: Exclude insurance claims advice obligations https://t.co/gws1ZYcsZ4 If claims assessor is advising a specific matter to a specific claimant relating specifically to that claimant, why should the claims assessor be exempted from conduct principles in the Corporations Act?
This is genuinely incredible.
The Liberals voted against the #bankingrc 26 times, they’ve shut down Parliament so we can’t implement the recs, now they’re backing down on a major reform they committed to just a few weeks ago.
Imagine what will happen after the election!
@Gluyasr Despite rhetoric, #bankingRC failed THE PEOPLE of #Australia, FAILED to hold #bankers accountable (but DID hold shareholders, us, accountable for bankers action!), FAILED to make a difference! #Bank executives (employees) smiled, took their EXCESSIVE pay, bonuses, and carried on.
A big win for corporate regulator ASIC - wealth manager AMP and Clayton Utz surrender documents relating to law firms “independent” investigation of fees for no service scandal @abcnews#bankingRc https://t.co/Yr2SkENtsU
If $CBA only get caught / held accountable for a fraction of their misconduct & play the lowball game & wriggle out of paying people wherever possible, could it be that the actual misconduct exceeds $10 billion? @jmwhistleblower@drkohComminsure Impact on the economy anybody?
@mozman16 @1TERRYPREST @smh@Peter_Fitz@fraser_anning This big bank fraud was reported by the bank because the fraud was against it. When the bank commits the fraud they won’t report it. #BankingRC heard evidence about things not being investigated when bank victims reported. Do you just like to put people down for the sake of it?
Banks back to running the 'chicken little' strategy - If you do anything we don't like you'll all be ruined. I recall they used the same line to scare us off the #bankingRC Guess what? The sky didn't fall in. These muppets need to lend to make money. Credit won't 'dry up'.

Thank you @BruceRossbrc. Your comments overwhelmed @Richard_D_Boyle yesterday.😢 He said it was the first time someone had truly understood and described the gravity of his actions sacrificing a career he loved.

For anyone saying, "Why didn't Richard lodge a disclosure under the Public Interest Disclosure Act (2013)?" He did. It didn't stop the @ATO_gov_au:
• rejecting the disclosure
• terminating his employmnt
• offering him 'hush money'
