“We weren't thinking of a sort of a global shock. But now it is a global shock.” Martin Griffiths was U.N. Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs. He tells me lives are being lost, as wars in Ukraine and Iran choke off critical food supplies.
Tony Greenstein’s closing speech to the Jury:
‘If the devil exists it is amongst those who prohibit anaesthetics entering Gaza 🇵🇸’
‘Those who deliberately starve children to death’
‘Those who bomb tents & burn children alive.
‘Those who call Palestinians 🇵🇸 “human animals”

Israel tweets that a group of innocent Israelis were "hiking" by a Palestinian town in the West Bank, and Israeli soldiers shot Palestinians who threw stones at the poor innocent Israelis.
The next tweet admits those innocent Israelis had set fire to a building in the town.
There's an abundance of evidence - testimony from Western doctors, Palestinian victims, and IDF criminals; and open-source evidence - for prepubescent children deliberately shot by the IDF. Yet we struggle to find open-source evidence of combatants killed by shooting. (We can find plenty of combatants killed by airstrikes.)
How many of the (presumably) hundreds of Hamas-confirmed combatants killed that you've studied were killed by gunfire, @MiddleEastBuka, @GabrielEpsteinX, @BoxLoner, @Aizenberg55? Your audiences would be curious to know.
I'm going through the same names and I'm able to find causes for most of the combatant deaths, with air strikes being the most common by far. Shooting/IDF ground troops is shockingly rare as a cause of death.
In an urgent letter to the Security Council, the State of Palestine demanded that the international community take practical, irreversible, and meaningful measures to counter Israel’s colonial agenda and policies on the ground, including the "E1" plan, and not only condemn them in international fora and statements:
The EU's response to E1 construction should be judged against its 2014 warning that such action would cross a red-line, potentially leading to restrictive measures such as the suspension of the Association Agreement, suspending ENI funding, participation in Horizon Europe, etc
What a opening paragraph from Marc Lynch!
“The American Middle East is finished. The regional order that has prevailed since 1991 has been one of the many casualties of the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran. The American and Israeli failure to dislodge the regime in Tehran has proved the bankruptcy of decades of sanctions and violence.”

Kids in Gaza dream of rebuilding their homes. This young boy wants to help people and become an engineer to reconstruct the homes that got bombed in Gaza. His dream is a reflection of his reality.

And instead of being in school, he is spending his days queuing for water and carrying jerrycans. Instead of drawing homes and building his way towards his dreams, he is helping his family survive.
Water is the number ONE priority for The Sameer Project. Without water there’s no life. And we are now distributing only 185,000 liters but we aspire to go up to more than half a million liters. Each 1,000 liters costs around $15 so for this much, you can help us increase our water distributions.

On January 21, 2025, his first full day in office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order revoking Biden-era Executive Order 14115. This completely reversed the sanctions, financial penalties, and asset freezes previously placed on over 30 far-right individuals, settler outposts, and groups documented to have committed or supported violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
We are deeply disturbed by reports of the arrest of Dr Dima Mohammed Amin, a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology, from her home in the West Bank, Palestine. Dr Dima is the latest victim in Israel's systematic campaign of hunting down and detaining Palestinian medics.
She joins Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, Dr Iyad Al-Rantisi, Dr Mohammed Obeid and scores of others in arbitrary Israeli detention. They have not been charged with any offence; they were simply treating patients. That is not a crime.
We demand the immediate and unconditional release of all healthcare workers arbitrarily detained by Israeli forces.
The Israel Lobby's new list of demands just dropped:
🔺$40B from US taxpayers over the next 10 years (as a base)
🔺US establish a "permanent" military presence and CENTCOM operational HQ in Israel
🔺Formally include Israel in the Golden Dome
🔺Merge our defense-industrial base
🔺A "limited" US-Israel Mutual Defense Treaty (to "honor" the "memory" of Lindsey Graham)
🔺A new NATO where the US organizes/arms Arab states in defense of Israel ("Membership in such a security structure should be conditioned on Arab members normalizing relations with Israel...")
What does America get? The bill.
Isn't it weird that not a single Jewish billionaire has stood against what Israel is doing? You'd think that statistically speaking, there would be one.
But no, not a single one- and there are 276 Jewish billionaires listed on Forbes alone.
They will call you a 'conspircacy theorist' for having basic pattern recognition in 2026.
Si elle le faisait, la responsabilité première en incomberait à Israël qui, loin de répondre aux appels à la négociation du nouveau gouvernement syrien, a multiplié les ingérences dans ce pays.
Replies turned off, so I’ll do it this way, Emily. “We must stop all trade and investment in the settlements”—No, *in Israel*. And end military alliance, cut economic and cultural relations. Which approach do you imagine is actually going to make Israel think again?
Si Europa no cede, fronteras abiertas.
