I'm seeing team leads under immense pressure.

Why? Because AI decoupled effort from output.

Developers can create giant PRs in a few minutes. But that code may take hours to vet, test, fix, and review.

In 2024, bad developers were easy to spot. They produced little code, or struggled to write code that even ran.

In 2026, bad developers can use AI to quickly generate tons of code they don't understand. It seems okay at a glance, but contains subtle problems and fundamental issues that are hard to spot.

Anyone who judges a car by tailgate messaging, in-built games, connecting four PlayStation controllers to the infotainment screen, karaoke, disco lighting, and calls these “fantastic features” is not an auto enthusiast. The same goes for any YouTuber who promotes these as groundbreaking automotive features.

Who actually buys a car for these gimmicks? More importantly, how are safety standards allowing so many distractions inside a vehicle?

Then Mahindra and some influencers say I’m “against Mahindra.” That’s not the issue. The issue is the automotive standards being promoted today.

Instead of highlighting gimmicks, why not talk about what really matters engine reliability, suspension, driving dynamics, performance, safety, and real-world battery range.

ಗದಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಾತನ ‘ನಾಗ ಕುಂಡ’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲು ಬಾವಿ (stepwell) ಇದೆ. 11 ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣದ ಚಾಲುಕ್ಯರ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ “ಸೂಡಿ” ಇಂದು ಒಂದು ಪುಟ್ಟ ಹಳ್ಳಿ. ಈ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇತರಹದ ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟೋ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗಿವೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಈ ಬಾವಿ, ಬೃಹತ್ ಗಣೇಶನ ಮೂರ್ತಿ, ಅಚಲೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೋಡು ಕಳಸ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದಿವೆ.
