@SenWarren I’m convinced this woman is a plant / saboteur. Low-key been sabotaging the Dem party (the majority of Dem voters who are center-left, not the organization, which is center-right) for most of her career. This post is revealing…to me at least.
@pmarca This guy’s nuts (in a funny way)…but I’m glad he’s on the home team. Can’t deny his passion, and on the points he made here, he’s prob right. I’d actually be more weary of him if he was humble. Stay crazy, my friends.
@RagingVentures Maybe a value trap. Fixed wireless is rapidly eating market share, and the mobile business, while currently growing nicely, has some fundamentally limiting weaknesses. Just go to a store and tell me if you’d switch to their offering vs what you have now (it didn’t math for me).
@DouthatNYT@DouthatNYT You let him get away with claiming that Bitcoin is money. It isn’t. It’s also not digital gold. Everyone, both bulls and bears, avoids the convo about the adoption flaws described here: https://t.co/lJ3brRe1dC
@Restructuring__ IRR makes performance look better than it is. This isn’t actually useful. I’d want to know an apples to apples comparison vs the SPX for the same time period.
@NickNemo17 This is why people need financial education. I don’t need a Wealth Manager but I’d fire anyone that put half my $ in fee based privates like this.
@institLPGP Game that out. If he walks away, and the war ends, insurance premiums drop and the ships start moving again. Iran will collects some tolls but at just 1% of value, importers can and will absorb this, esp as the price of oil recedes from the end of conflict. He already lost.
@Larryjamieson_ 💯…mortgage rates would rise instantly. Politically toxic. These belong with the govt until/unless they also strictly regulate underwriting standards across the board, which they never will.
@KobeissiLetter This narrative will flip the minute the war ends. Inflation will be “transitory” again and the new Fed Chair will be able to get rates cut a full point by the end of the year…because we will be in a recession.
@JerryCap@TMTBreakout This war is far from over. This isn’t TACO…he’s moving more and more assets into the area. Trump will almost certainly escalate and Iran will respond. This will go on until one sides breaks.
@DarioCpx@dgsommersmkts That is 100% NOT what is happening. Sovereigns are not dumping an illiquid reserve asset to meet their needs. This is speculators getting out after the Fed made clear they’re not cutting rates. Expect a reversal soon…
@mihaljevic The lawsuit was for consumer and small business contracts, not enterprise (most of the revenues). Where it counts, they’re still strong and so far no evidence AI has hurt their business. Core business is extremely stable.
@INArteCarloDoss They’re trying to re-direct some to the Red Sea…where they’ll face Yemen and Somali pirates. Puts the Yemen proxy wars and “Somaliland” into perspective. It’s always been about trade routes to counter Iran for an eventual attack. This has been decades in the making.
@buccocapital Between chasing the Japanese and US 401k plans, they’re clearly out of informed investor options. Defaults are up and Partners Group said to expect them to potentially double. This is just the lending side…last I checked, equity is lower in the capital structure.
@INArteCarloDoss Our actions will reshape the region for the next several decades no matter what we do now. A revolution isn’t coming and this regime learned a lot about everyone involved. I don’t see any big mistakes coming.

@FurkanGozukara Israel has a thriving weapons industry…they want to get away from dependence on US aid money by developing this industry. India will buy lots of weapons from them.
@Jason@realDonaldTrump@JDVance Or he increases the earned income tax credit, which is a much easier sell…he wants to cut taxes anyway, might as well start with the voters he needs. Higher minimum wage hurts small businesses…he’d lose votes.
