I want to become a computational engineer ala @leap_71 and apply denotational design to the domain.
Starting as a competent software engineer, I'm learning @_MathAcademy_ . Just finished Foundations I course.
Wish me fortune on this long journey!
I want to build a durable format for memories and spaced repetitions.
All SRS apps I know of have it wrong. For them the proprietary format is incidental to the app. Instead the format should be central and the app one wrapper around it.
I want my memories to last a lifetime.
@DamonZumbroegel Ended the old, there is no new taking birth.
Dispassioned their minds toward further becoming,
they—with no seed, no desire for growth,
enlightened—go out like this flame.
This, too, is an exquisite treasure in the Saṅgha.
By this truth may there be well-being.
@justinskycak What do you think is the possible upside for an experienced software engineer with skill accumulation?
Specifically for maths, but generally through skill aquisition.
What problems can become opportunities to solve? In the context of AI affording more ambitious projects.
@DamonZumbroegel Something on my mind is how being very poor in Nepal is so different from being poor in the West like Canada. They look happy. But in Canada the bottom is so much darker. You see a homeless person or even someone too poor living in a car, and there’s much more suffering.
The only reliable path to wealth is seriously skilling up and applying those skills to solve real problems. Think "decade," not "year." The path won't shorten just because you started late.
