Was surprised recently to see George has only scored 1 try against a top 8 nation in the past decade, a lineout maul v Ireland. SA/NZ/FR/IRE etc use hooker as a real attacking weapon.

@SamLStandsUp @ProgressiveRug True. But Daly (0 tries in last 8 tests) May, (1 in 9) & Malins (0 in 7) aren't scoring against any opposition. Malins & Daly were both there for Chile too.
Watson, Cokanasiga & Arundell are the only wingers who have looked dangerous at all to me since 2019.

@SamLStandsUp @ProgressiveRug Fine with it in defence. But in attack it makes the lack of Arundell more surprising.
For his 5th v Chile, Arundell is over on the left wing 10 seconds before taking the pass to score in the right corner. Tracks all the way with Smith. It's an Ashton type run May & Daly don't do.

@Joatamos @Nigelrefowens Same as if it had been a pen. Calling a mark awards a free kick (law 17). When a free kick is awarded, the opposition has to retreat 10 metres (law 20)

Actually I loved the Sale side of the early 2000's so watched his dad play a lot. But Cam didn't go through the Scottish rugby system. In fact not sure he's ever lived in Scotland.

@MrTomLuke @RugbyPass @danielgallan Bit different. They've all been in England since they were 7-13 years old and developed there. VDM, Steyn, Tuipulotu, Schoemann, White, Skinner, Dempsey, Nel, Ashman, Price & Redpath were all professional rugby players poached to represent Scotland.

@Scienceofsport Is there anything looking specifically at head injuries when tackler is upright - what would be likely outcome if they'd been lower and whether they have time to adjust?
Would also be interesting to see whether those cases were above average in other risk factors, e.g. speed.
