Hey @ADKHospital, Hi @ADKNashid
When will you upgrade the chairs in the ADK ICU waiting area? :)
Restless family members sit in these chairs day in & out.
They are so uncomfortable you can't sit in them for 30mins before you are forced to get up & move.
26/12 is a day for some to talk about Tsunami 2004. Forgetting that a great part of our own communities are unable to move today 'cause they are being reminded of that day. A day of devastation, uncertainty & worry.
Can we move away from it & stop forcing them to re-visit it. 🙏
Looking at the lessons learned during Tsunami & Water Crisis, we conducted "Getting Airports Ready for Disaster" GARD training workshop in the Maldives with the help of @UNDPMaldives. The program was aimed at preparing the airport for post disaster humanitarian surges. @MACLmedia
I have facilitated Island Disaster Management Planning and Community Emergency Response Training Workshops in several Islands. These workshops resulted in strengthening capacities at local level!
All my DM stories, starts and ends with Stregthening Emergency Operations, to ensure efficient Response!

As part of Unity Day drawing competition organized by NDMA, @kfcitycouncil and @mrckfcity we have received plentiful drawings from 3 age categories. We will be selecting best 2 from each category.
Through NDMA Internship program we have trained multiple youths, who are now working in organizations such as @MoEnvmv@MWSC_Official.
We are so proud of where our interns have flown off from NDMA. #VilunveriRaajje#TogetherWeCan
In 2018, I got to kick off Internship Program at NDMA. During the internship period, we equip our interns with DRR knowledge. Success is, we get our previous interns self-volunteering with us during emergencies as one of us. #VilunveriRaajje
