@MikeLisboa I missed your call for proposals and I can’t object to GoW, but I submit Horizon: Zero Dawn for subsequent consideration. How much I enjoyed it took me by complete surprise.
@inthehands But as conspiracy theorists consistently show us, it only takes a few experiences, the tiniest sliver of truthiness, to weave any narrative you want.
@inthehands The math and physics make the conclusion (digital is indistinguishable) obvious, but confounded by human factors like the mastering constraints you describe (and the opposite—early digital mastering was AWFUL and made the CD versions sound like comparative crap.)
@inthehands “That which does not kill you makes you stronger” is often dismissive BS, but I have some hope our democratic near-death experience could do just that.
@inthehands I feel like the fact there are recognizable nouns in the CS example puts it a hair below such facts as, “strange quarks are elementary fermions with spin 1/2 and are part of hadrons such as kaons and Sigma baryons.”
I loved shooting this episode of the @HumanizingWork show with my old teammates from the @adobe Audition team. It was a special group. I got emotional during the edit and every time I’ve watched it since. Thanks @j3hs, Ron and Paul! https://t.co/ILtsUVaPbn
@davidjbland Something along the lines of, “actually building the thing is the most expensive way to figure out if that is the thing you should build.”
