From no experience to $1.5 million in funding โ Jack Adler '23 started building Out2Win at #SyracuseU ๐
Miya Chorney '26 sat down with the founder and CEO to hear how The Launchpad and @WhitmanAtSU helped make it happen.

Per a release, Syracuse Athletics has formed a partnership with Out2Win (@out2winsports), which was founded by SU alum Jack Adler, to expand NIL opportunities and resources for Orange athletes. ๐งก๐ฝ https://t.co/DlemaymXlO
All the NIL headlines focus on the superstars making millions.
Here's the real story:
500k+ college athletes now have the chance to monetize their personal brand, and many of them are doing a damn good job of it. And it's not just the quarterbacks and point guards.
But if you're a brand trying to reach Gen Z, sports fans, or athletes, these are the creators to watch.
I'll put a link to the full list in the comments if you'd like to check it out.
Huge thanks to Alyssa Meyers and @MarketingBrew for featuring the list in a recent story!
According to @RossBjorkAD, the next arms race in college athletics is which school can build the strongest brand partnerships arm to drive real NIL deals.
Thatโs why just about every major program is now hiring NIL teams to generate brand partnerships for their athletes. ๐งต

When people ask me what I think the future of NIL looks like, my answer is simple: we havenโt even scratched the surface.
When NIL first passed, college athletes were just thatโฆ athletes. They grew up focused on training, competition, and performing at the highest level. Sure, some had hobbies, but very few were natural content creators or entrepreneurs.
But what about the YouTube generation? The kids who grew up eating Cheerios in high chairs with iPads? Ask a 6-year-old today what they want to be when they grow up and many will say โa YouTuber.โ The world is shiftingโฆ. itโs digital first.
Quote me on this: in three years, some kids will start playing sports not just to compete but to tap into NIL as a way to build their personal brands.
Look at the Savannah Bananas. Nobody knew โbanana ballโ when Jesse Cole first started it, but now itโs a viral phenomenon. Sports and entertainment are colliding in ways weโve never seen before. And if you donโt get ahead of the curve, youโll be left behind.
Even now, weโre seeing it. A Clemson walk-on is using his position on the team to launch his music career. Heโs even leveraging Clemson facilities and the Tiger logoโฆ which carry an organic, built-in fan base to drive listeners to his songs. Go to his Instagram and youโd think heโs an artist first, athlete second.
The future of NIL wonโt just be about deals. Itโs about identity, creativity, and the athletes who understand how to build a brand in a digital-first world.

What's one topic you'd love for me to write about? ๐
I'm the Founder & CEO of an early stage tech startup in the NIL and influencer marketing space called Out2Win. Our AI-powered data intelligence platform helps brands, talent agencies, and universities build smarter athlete marketing partnerships.
