@akiraonstarknet IMO credit cards are the biggest reason. Consumers don’t directly feel merchant fees, since those costs are baked into prices. If paying on-chain lowered prices more than what the consumer earns in card rewards, I strongly suspect adoption would rise quickly.

@OhadBarta @0x1164 If that's the case then right now we wouldn't be burning STRK. But in the future when there is a surplus (we figure out a way to reduce expenses or gain revenue by other means) the burn would begin.
