@DuxDefault I'd say 6.5 or 7/10. Not bad, but pretty low framerates in a lot of scenes other than the races (and even then, only the running shots). Story and music were both better than basic but less than breathtaking.
(Disclaimer: I've never played the game.) #Umamusume#ウマ娘
@eghadgadzooks Body cameras should be a no-brainer that all sides can get behind. Many people have concerns about fixed surveillance cameras (e.g. Flock), but if a live person's there on-duty anyway, then might as well record so it doesn't become their word against someone else's.
@g0ustalo@__negg And print out little pictures of what each button does and tape them onto the keys? Yes, it's often possible to save money by using cheap things instead of expensive things, lol. It can be a source of pride or it can feel cheap and annoying, depending on the situation.
@__negg You're the one "overcomplicating" it. If you've already got a folder with all the shortcuts, you can just press Ctrl-A and Enter to open them all. No need to write a fancy script.
@Nunes The admirals who were previously depicted as captains are all good! That's Janeway, Kirk, and Picard, at least. I understand there's a pretty good one at the end of Enterprise, but I'm still on season 1 of that.
@vicmignogna Pretty sure I remember the same message/quote from a previous installment. I guess repeats are to be expected when it was daily for so long.
@Thoosher_V2@MikeMumbelz@accursedfarms If the same people were fake signing on the UK and EU websites, then it would account for much of the EU initiative's recent boost while also accounting for the UK petition's overshoot, since the petition's much smaller. Hopefully not, but we're not out of the woods.
@HomsxlBatman@accursedfarms The Commonwealth is associated with Britain, which is no longer part of the EU. Britain also gets no say in the EU initiative, since they're not subject to it.
Similarly, Australia (like Canada & others) would not be subject to UK laws passed due to the UK petition.
@RblDiver@ShitpostRock They could do that without the initiative passing, too. Is your strategy really to avoid bringing up any issue to government in case you tip the scale the wrong way? Do you avoid voting, too, because even if you vote for someone you like, they might do something you don't like?
@RblDiver@ShitpostRock Fortunately, the stakes here are video games rather than life or death, and the worse-case scenario if the politicians do it wrong will be the status quo. Either they'll do it right and games will be preservable, or they'll mess it up and they still won't be. Not much to fear!
@__Cysiu__@Brollgarth@accursedfarms Maybe let him know they already have it, lol.
More seriously, the privacy policy on the website is quite detailed. All the validation details collected will be gone in a matter of months.
@PirateSoftware "Making shit when people think it's easy is harder." You have never finished a game. Other peoples' perception of how hard it is doesn't affect the actual work. Maybe stream less and dev more if you're that affected by it.
@BonelessSpaghea@6th_Moral@raguna36 That "distinction" doesn't make any sense because the work to support a single self-hostable build at the end does not get larger with every update of the game while it's still being supported.
@PirateSoftware@raguna36 "This isn't work you can quickly do at the end as your studio is collapsing." Hence why it needs to be law, so you know from the start to just do it.
You're also simply not answering the question, which was about providing one server build at the end (not that hard).
@PirateSoftware@WholesomeFren You're lumping "source/binaries" together every single time you say it when the initiative is clear that it doesn't require releasing any source code, specifically to muddy the water.
You also ignored viable paths to highlight "insane" ones.
@PirateSoftware You're a hack, and you got this issue wrong. That's the full story.
It is not "unfeasible" to leave future games in a working state after they're discontinued knowing that'll be a requirement when you start. And if it was unfeasible, then that means your business model is, too.
@Emps_rex@OfficialRWBY I'm the opposite-- not interested in more re-imaginings by newcomers. Monty Oum started something, Rooster Teeth continued it, I'd just like to see it end (competently, if possible). There are plenty of other franchises for other things.
