#ONGC has commenced its offshore data acquisition campaign in the Western Offshore, translating the Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji's visionary #SamudraManthan initiative into action and advancing India’s quest for long-term energy security.

The campaign was formally kicked off on 24 September 2026 by ONGC Director (Exploration) @opsinhaONGC along with senior officials, marking an important step towards deepening the understanding of India’s offshore sedimentary basins and identifying new opportunities for hydrocarbon discoveries.

Using state-of-the-art 3D Broadband Seismic technology, with data acquisition, the programme will generate high-quality subsurface insights to strengthen future exploration and enable evidence-based resource development across India’s offshore frontiers.

As the seas are churned for new possibilities, ONGC continues to lead from the front: exploring deeper, discovering more and securing India’s energy future.
