I agree kids are becoming too reliant on social media but from how this sounds it’s just school related. If your kid is old enough to start managing there work and sports they’re old enough to be on social media in my opinion. #csulbsmc https://t.co/0pV9E3XOcn
@AndrewLongBeach I haven’t heard from Phhhoto in a while. It’s interesting that the first thing I hear out of them for so long is that they’re suing facebook lol.
@Nabarkorin I think the meta is something that shouldn’t be fully trusted but at the same time I’m not too worried about it. It seems everyone is on the same page for the most part that meta is not trustworthy.
@neeljour104@TechCrunch This is gonna make it a lot easier to find old tweets so this could be interesting lol. But I feel like this should’ve been done awhile ago since it’s a pretty simple feature.
@Sarahturneyy I will always stick with the fact that I’ll never trust facebook and I’m for sure not going to trust META, face recognition or no face recognition.
I think it’s so bizarre to think a former president is running a right-wing social media site but I guess anything is possible these day. #csulbsmc https://t.co/84Tev1Kl8m
@_Ruubaee I still don’t use TikTok really because I find some of it pretty toxic but I can see why people spend a lot of time on it due to shorter videos. I don’t think they’re really competitive though since they’re kinda different in a lot of aspects of their styles.
@Justin51095035 I don’t know how to feel about this. I agree people base a lot of their happiness of likes and comments but taking that away I feel like it’s too late to do that. A lot of people are already programmed to base their thoughts of themselves on social media.
@mrbvirgo I’ve heard of other conservative social media sites. There’s not doubt this one will be popular among them and become another conservative facebook type of website.
@Justin51095035 There should be more regulations on social media. The amount of fake ads and other things I see is beyond me. It’s crazy that there hasn’t been more regulation in recent years.
@Nabarkorin I’ve known since I was younger how brainwashed we’re all being my social media. At the end of the day, everything we do on social media or what others do on social media doesn’t matter. There are some great things on here but other things really don’t affect us.
@AndrewLongBeach Ads have always been a necessary evil on these platforms. It’s sometimes the only way an app can make money even though they are extremely annoying. I’m glad they’re changing the way they show them.
@mrbvirgo I think it can be addicting to that level for some people. I personally am not addicted to it to that extent so it’s hard for me to understand, but i’ve seen it in other people.
@Nabarkorin I was just watching a video on them that was not making fun of them but for once was kind of sympathizing with them. It seems like they want to try to so many things like singing but they have to try and fail in front of 50 million people. It must be hard.
@AndrewLongBeach As annoying as ads are, I’m sure this will serve a purpose. At least they’re advertising things they know we like although it does creep me out they’re keeping track but at least it’s for good in a way.
This is honestly such a stupid trend and extremely immature. I’ve seen it here and there and can’t understand why it’s a thing. I don’t know what your guys thoughts on this is but it’s a very weird thing to be proud of. #csulbsmc https://t.co/rBMqnGFmlZ
@Evancainx Yeah I agree. If someone has right wing viewpoints I think that’s no reason to be kicked off social media but when it gets hateful or violent I think it’s time for them to be booted off.
