There is no way on God's green earth I would ever side with MLB and the owners in any dispute with the players.
Zero.
The MLBPA isn't perfect, and I don't always agree with the stances it takes, but in a showdown with the owners?
Please.
This game we all love is being held hostage.
The retro era of ballparks got one very big thing wrong: it pushed fans, the median seat, further from the game than the jewel-box era it attempted to recreate. Tired of waiting for an architecture firm to correct that error,
@MLBcathedrals, @architecturejks and myself decided to put our vision into the world. We created a (digital) ballpark for a @whitesox team in need of it. For

Pitchers who applied 4 minutes of ice to their deltoid and forearm between innings threw 1.3-1.5 mph harder in innings 4-5, reported 35% lower perceived exertion, and felt better recovered. Traditional dugout strategy says keep it warm. The data say cool it down.
4 minutes of ice between innings: velocity preserved in late innings, 35% lower perceived fatigue, better recovery. The traditional "keep it warm" approach might be wrong.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the amount of miracles that occurred in this game.

#300 @PullHitterPod ! - this will be lengthy- sorry!
It is pretty surreal that this podcast endeavor has lasted this long. It started out as a way for me to get through a tough time in my life. My wife pushed me to do it after I got hurt at work and left me with having to have 4 surgeries and countless hours of rehab. I would have never made it through like I did without this outlet to talk about this hobby that is fantasy baseball - something that has been rooted in me since I was a little kid playing Strat-O-Matic.
I am forever grateful for anyone who has listened, left a nice review and of course my fellow Meatballs in the Patreon. Every positive piece of feedback is well engrained in me and I will never lose site of that as I work tirelessly to improve as an analyst and player.
More importantly I would like to thank those that have worked with me a lot through it all.
@BullpenGuru - you are the man and one of the most loyal people I have ever met. If I have to go to war with people, I definitely want you on my side
@RyanRufe - you always have the most kind and positive outlook toward my work
@randyhaines22 thanks for always stepping in and providing awesome show notes and analysis
@Stevoswervee - keep doing your thing bro!
@telestar7 appreciate all the times we shared, dating back to the @SPStreamer days! Speaking of the SP streamer himself- thank you for inviting me into your world when I first started. I realized then how hard I had to work at this because not many people worked as hard as you in this sphere
@RobSilver & @jeffwzimmerman - Thank you for accepting my into the @LaunchAnglePod world and allowing me to keep your wonderful voices out there. You guys have made me better in so many ways and I am forever grateful
@DustinLMcComas - thanks for stepping in and looking forward to continuing our podcasting and friendship.
Shit I hope I did not miss anyone.
For anyone who has ever thought about doing a podcast, or stepping out of your comfort zone in any walks of life- do it. You only get one shot at this life to pursue any passion you want. You will fail, get knocked down and it is all part of the journey that hardens you to make you shine through it all. Embrace it, challenge yourself and take your best shot. Create the energy and environment you seek to be around and quickly diffuse all bags of shits trying to cast any negativity into your arena.
I want thank some of you that I have always admired and have given me the motivation/inspiration to put my all into this
@RealJRAnderson - on top of being an insanely skilled analyst + player- you remain the 1.1 of kind humans
@RyanBHQ - you were the guy I would rip through all articles and content before I was even a dude people knew. I used to bother the shit out of you in the BHQ member live chats and you were the first (and only) person to announce my overall win- but more important gave me the nudge to interview successful NFBC players on my pod. I will always support you and @bdentrek in your endeavors because hard work does not go unnoticed and you guys provide a template for consistency that is admirable
@gjewett9 - no one works as fiercely and hard as you do and your passion is always evident in your work
@batflipcrazy - the one dude who made me most want to podcast and become the best I could at analysis. I tell you that often because it is true. You will forever be the 🐐 in my book and I live for the day it may happen again!
@Jeff_Erickson@ScottJenstad - the class acts and Dons of the fantasy baseball podcast world. Sunday nights/ Monday mornings are made better with you two laying down goods on the mic
It may be 300 public pods, but I have done over 600 in the Patreon....yet the number is not what matters most (if at all). It is the same way with "followers"- it is not the amount you have but the amount that would go to war for you/have your back in the realest sense.
It matters in the genuine people that I have met, connected with and created a space where we all get along and thrive off of it.
If you have made it this far, thanks for your ears and eyes and thanks for supporting me- it was always more important to me behind the scenes than you will ever know.
Oh, and don't be a bag of shit
If you’d like to take over a dynasty team with guys like James Wood, Jason Dominguez, Emmanuel Rodriguez, Jordan Westburg, Gerrit Cole, Michael King, and the right to take Roki Sasaki with the 1.1 FYPD pick, then let me know. More league details below⬇️
