@RachelReevesMP for inheritance tax purposes, why can't you value the farmhouse & garden and tax that at 20% in line with other UK properties, but allow the farmland & outbuildings to be passed down to children free of inheritance tax? The UK needs to be able to produce its food.

@bbclaurak every sales course I've been on in the last 50 years, says the first rule is to promote your own business but never run down the competition as this will drive potential customers towards your competitors. Politicians have clearly never been on a sales course !

Why is the UK pension only 29% of the working wage. Most of the other European countries are 70 - 80% and Croatia is 129%. I realise that the average working wage will vary a lot, but a comparison with Italy, Spain & Germany must be relevant? We do have an NHS I suppose.
