It’s a simple as this, would you rather a system where the MP is the person with the most votes against the majority of support or the MP is the person with majority of support.

@Maggie_Perry6 Maggie I think you should also look at Gilmore and Paterson in NSW. Only 2 Labor seats to swing towards the Liberals at the last election.
With Andrew Constance running for Gilmore again, it’s a very possible gain.

@CaseyBriggs @NSWPolAlerts Are you not more concerned about a split in the Labor Seats? Some of its most marginal seats had some of the highest No Votes.

The Liberal Party has to work out how to balance the Liberalism and Conservatism.

But the Labor party has a much bigger struggle on its hands.

@AntonyGreenElec The seat of Paterson looks like it can only improve the margin for the Liberal Party. The seat has to cut off voters to come back into quota. West Maitland and Kurri will drop the margin down and is the only geographical region that makes sense.

Actually I have never heard of Tweed, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Taree, Maitland, Gosford, Terrigal. Let alone, Shellharbour, Kiama, Shoalhaven, Nowra + more.

Oh and I have NEVER heard of Tamworth, Armidale, Dubbo +
