@HMRCcustomers OK, so if it is self-employed income and no tax has been deducted, does it just go in with all other self-employed income and doesn't need to be declared separately?
@HMRCcustomers Thanks. Is that the correct category for 'normal' income (i.e. income from work, rather than from savings, pensions and anything else)? And then which box should I put the income in on the following page? The one that says "If you've received a benefit from a person abroad"?
@HMRCcustomers any thoughts? I can't reach you by phone (after 10 minutes of apparently unnecessary menu diving the line is deemed too busy and the call ended)
@HMRCcustomers Where do I input foreign income when filling out my tax return? It isn't from dividends, savings or any of the other options I'm given on the Foreign income details page, and I haven't yet paid tax on it overseas. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to add it.
First thing I've written since my second-born, and I really enjoyed it! A piece about why I love fermentation for @ckbk's 'Consuming Passions' series - thanks for the commission @MJCockerill https://t.co/kaPHxdTrlU
My book's just been indexed on @eatyourbooks - if you don't already use it, it's a great website that lets you search all the recipes in your cookbooks (e.g. for sauerkraut, to remind yourself you could be making pierogi with it)

@StrappingLass@BookishJulia@everygoodthing9@megmuck Thank you!! But also, oh no! I'm sorry for your kitchen (though it is somewhat a rite of passage - release bottle-tops regularly, or use plastic so you can see the bulge)
It's gift-buying time! If you've got anyone ferment-curious in your life, I've put together a whole list of my favourite ferment & ferment-adjacent books (yes, my own has snuck on there, I'm shameless) including @bookishjulia@everygoodthing9@megmuck https://t.co/OtNqcmHP3u
Alright, I'm finally moving to #bluesky properly. Here's the link for my occasional fermenting & food chat (don't redact pls) https://t.co/J1deGQkJLJ
It was such a pleasure to talk to James and to taste some home-made fermentation in action, like Soy sauce, tepache, and kimchi! And of course trace the long history!

Fermented food is literally all around.
Why do we love them so much? When did we start making them intentionally, and crucially are they good for our health? With @jamesreadwrites

So, the pattern of the office cubicle walls in Ludwig is definitely a code, right? Rosicrucian cipher?
(if this is revealed in a later episode just pretend I've been v smart pls)
