Owner @ Dualmind Health. Functional Health & Nutrition. Helping people with chronic health & autoimmune conditions to heal with education - not medication.
The future of chronic disease medicine isn’t pharmaceuticals…
It’s behavioural psychology.
I’m using tech to help people change their lifestyles and diets.
My daughter went through hell, so this is personal too.
@PeterDiamandis Peter you know correlation does not mean causation, and this does not concur with other studies on the same topic. Whoever is running your account needs to be careful as this kind of post will seriously damage your credibility.
A mentor of mine scared me recently.
He’s been CEO of multi-billion dollar companies, so when he speaks - I listen.
I explained my plan for tackling global chronic illness and his response chilled my blood…
“Good… but don’t wake up big pharma”
I’ll tread quietly then…
I feel a bit dirty for reading books on propaganda (rebranded now as PR)…
But I believe it’s the only way to change the world’s beliefs about medicine.
I hope to help them seek out education, not more medication.
@MasculineTheory Psychocybernetics by Maxwell Maltz
“Why do my eyes hurt?”
“Because you’ve never used them before…”
That’s what it was like as I closed the book and sat back in my chair.
Highly recommended.
@maxwellcopy Brilliant book!
I think the most underrated book that every ad man should read is ‘My Life In Advertising’ By Claude Hopkins.
It shows the power of ads when combined with Edward Bernays-style PR moves - its next level stuff
@thedankoe Highly accurate.
The biggest shift this year was going all in on something which I had experienced a lot of pain with.
I learned to solve the problem for myself…
But in the process stumbled across my greatest passion and interest👌
Thanks for this
@rorysutherland@hfedwards The sport of kings!
I was reading your Alchemy book again last week in a beer garden whilst working my way down the bar’s local IPAs 👌
Talk about brainstorming for new ideas 😅
@WrongsToWrite Right move, for us:
We’re age 30 now - my wife and I spent the past 6 years raising 2 awesome kids, building businesses and now we’re finally starting to see some success - we get to all enjoy it as a young family.
But yes, it is like playing the game on HARD mode!
How to choose your purpose:
1. Start climbing
2. Reach peak, see further
3. Climb next peak
4. Repeat using improved data set
5. Ignore journey length
Start now.
The data you have is incomplete.
@anafabrega11@DanielPink Agreed. This quote has be experienced to be understood…
Climbing false peaks seems the first part of finding the work that matters.
When you reach a peak, you see further.
