@nari78 Not as philosophical as Socrates. I personally really like John Dewey. But oddly enough, I recently played through one of the Assassin’s Creed games that was based in Greece. They included information about Socrates which I thought was really cool!

@CharlesTMinor I like the feeling of being productive. Some days I sit down and crank out assignment after assignment. But some days, like today, I curl up with my furry family and play some Fallout. Balance is hard to find at the end of the semester. You got this!

@AaronSoderholm I agree! For me, I think working at the hospital is really kicking my butt. I used to have time to study at work, but it’s not that way anymore.

@CharlesTMinor I totally can’t give advice because that is me too. But what I started doing is making a separate place for school work so if I happen to walk into that area, I feel like I need to do homework.

I just finished watching The Social Dilema. I think this is an important documentary for future educators to watch. Technology is here to stay. We need to know as much about it as we can! #ed300

@EduStudentScsu I think we will catch up to where they are now, but as we advance, so will they. The problem is our education system is ruled by red tape and traditional teachers. As society progresses and times change, we need younger voices reflecting change. But we don’t have that.

I still can’t get over the quote in Chapter 5, “the present curricula in science and mathematics are overstuffed and undernourished”. Yes and yes. So many things I learned in K-12 that I will never use. So many things I learned in college that I should have known earlier. #ed300

@EduStudentScsu I think I’m definitely a little biased, but I think MANY more students would have an appreciation for mathematics. It’s essentially just puzzles! Who doesn’t like puzzles?!

@JessicaAnne815 Time management. I spent an excessive amount of time on it because I was never content with the result. If I had more time, I would’ve done more. But I can’t put my other classes on hold. Balance is difficult.

@m_dahlinger I’ll send you mine! I ended up doing it in Microsoft Word and utilizing the “navigation bar” and internal links. That way you can jump to a part of the plan that you want.
