@mattderron@tshddx@Create_Profit Ya that’s 46% that either completely or significantly reduced their holdings. I’m sure there wasn’t any further amount of investors that somewhat lowered their exposure, but hey I am an advisor that can somewhat think for myself, what do I know. Just take the loss and be a man.
Well it isn’t stupid shit, but ok. Gallup showed that 16% of investors COMPLETELY pulled out of the market in 2008 and never invested again over the next decade. In addition to the 16%, an additional 30% significantly lowered their holdings over the next decade bull market. So maybe look up the data first before saying there is no data. Thanks for playing though.
Well you guys are all making me much more bullish on America. Just a bunch of brilliant investors that are all in it for the long haul and making 16% a year. Now of course the actual data shows that retail investors primarily trade a lot and have bad timing, but hey what does Fidelity know? They report every year that their clients that do the best are the ones that either died or literally don’t know how to log into their account, and that the vast majority of self directed accounts dramatically underperform the market. But it’s nice to see so many great investors are here on X!
Very few are arguing that umpiring is a super hard job on the field. Yes dealing with parents and such is a pain. The problem with your prior post is the fundamental argument of the strike zone. You seem to want the same strike zone regardless of age/skill level. That is not realistic. You can’t have a college/pro level strike zone for a 12 year old baseball game. There would be 15 walks per game.
Two year chart of gas prices and wti crude. Prices for the most part were aligned with one another, over the past month or so gas prices have remained at highs while crude oil has fallen.
@AndreasSteno I was thinking the same thing. 100 days in and there have been a lot of threats, but no real action. Maybe they will move at some point, but the whole “we really mean it this time” shtick is getting old.
It’s like the Seinfeld episode where George is working on leaving on a high note. Trump just keeps doing the same jokes and it is pretty boring at this point, especially given that he started a war with Iran. It was funny “owning the libs” for a while, now it is just boring and embarrassing.
I know these kids are supposed to be some of the better 12 year olds in the country, but let’s not act like there should be a college/pro level strike zone. That pitch was barely outside. If you just want a walk fest then I guess go ahead and expect 12 year olds to have a similar strike zone as grown adults have.
They are reading from the same playbook. It is a math equation now. Good, bad, or different the bean counter/math guys have taken over baseball for a while. There is very little “feel” left in the game especially when it comes to managerial decisions. Not worth it for the manager to overrule the overall predetermined game plan.
@michaeljknowles What? You realize someone just took the presidential rating from the first poll on it in 1948 and put Trump at the top and a few other dems at the bottom right? There is not deeper meaning, it’s just a lazy troll job.
@fwrenzo1 Because those corporations are not borrowing from the tax payer, and also it is a corporation which is separate from the individual. Just like if you started an LLC, it’s to protect your personal assets.
BREAKING NEWS: Youppi! has signed an executive order to rename Washington Nationals as “Montreal Expos,” a change the mascot says would take effect immediately
@stelzner_n1150 Wrong. They did raids in multiple states. The raids were primarily in states run by Democratic governors because those governors were/still not working with the administration on deportation of illegal immigrants.
