The Canadian government refused, and instead seems intent on not only slaughtering the birds, but torturing them before they slaughter them.

Please, do or say something.

This is not just an insult to the Trump administration - it is an act which puts everyone at risk to the extent @HHSGov believes the birds hold scientific value and should be studied, not slaughtered and incinerated.

I’m still thinking about that woman murdered in Pickering while tending to her garden.

I’ve heard she was her husband’s caregiver. He’s wheel-chair bound.

How long have they been married? Decades? I can’t imagine the pain and grief.

It’s already being treated like it never happened. Mental health was to blame said the Mayor of Durham. And politicians won’t remind us of this tragedy every year on its anniversary. We don’t know what flowers she was gardening so people could put them on their porches and share pictures of it on Facebook.

We all know why.

We had an opportunity to work on change. Pierre Poilievre promised to make legislators work all Summer on a crime bill.

Canadians chose Mark Carney and the status quo instead.
