Also, low mobile call rates in most regions effected revenue of powerfull. So, if ai hardware is not owned by masses, token rates can be used to earn fat revenue. If these two facts prove to be false, ai is surely a bubble & hardware will dirt cheap in 2 or 3 years.
Uncertainty of ai hardware getting cheap is genuine. With two tech revolutions (mobile & internet) being cheap for masses, the control of powerfull is reduced. They might not allow this for ai.
we now have flying cars, self landing rockets, self driving taxis, humanoid robots, brain chips, frontier ai, quantum computers, gene editing, satellite wifi, nuclear fusion breakthroughs and an abundance of food and water

In March 2019, Neha Shoree, a Punjab drug inspector, was shot dead in broad daylight in Kharar, Punjab. The accused was a chemist shop owner who reportedly opened fire on her before taking his own life.
Neha was known for her work against the illegal drug trade. Her killing remains a painful reminder of the dangers faced by those fighting drug-related crime.
In 2026, Punjab is mourning another tragedy following the death of Parvinder Singh jhotta …

the senior engineers at my comapny are single handedly delivering full blown projects in months for which the likes of TCS would charge a gazillion dollars and take two years with a team of 12
Whatever new idea you want to build, most of it is already open source on GitHub.
Even if it is not, someone will clone it and open-source it within days of your launch.
The moat in coding is basically gone.
I have run a manufacturing business for 22 years. And here’s what I have learnt.
The entire myth that villagers are bhola and fools is a filmy construct.
I have known my staff members who had two voter id’s and would sell their village vote for panchayat or MLA elections .. the panchayat election candidates spend more money to acquire voters by sending jeeps/vehicles to get them back to village on voting day.
They have registered for multiple schemes in Government to make most of the situation. Show houses in villages to avail all the benefit by government to villagers.
Some of them showed their relatives’ kids as their own in ESIC ( before Adhaar was made compulsory for biometric cards in 2017 ) so they get medical for them.
They get sick leaves written, take ESIC benefits and want us to show them absent while they continue their jobs.
The list is endless..
I do understand that poverty is an underlying issue but yet we can’t just shrug it off as that. Between what’s moral and legal, I choose legal.
When all cars become autonomous, there will be 40,000 Americans who remain alive each year who otherwise would have died.
Lives will be saved starting now, and more will be saved each year as autonomous hours driven increase rapidly.
All cars will be autonomous by 2030.
@svembu You’re another capitalist pressuring hardworking employees while playing the sympathy card.
If you were salaried and got no hike, would you blindly accept your company’s narrative in meeting rooms and on social media?
Then why ask fellow Indians to return home?
Prediction: the value of all verifiable tasks in the long run is 0. There is no profit there.
Anything where the success is defined in a finite and non-ambiguous way, it’s over. Value is 0.
The profits are all in taste/judgement related tasks where some like it and some hate it. Vibes only. No rationality.
Labs are hillclimbing verifiable tasks now and it might sound impressive that OpenAI found those math proofs but soon others will follow and players like DeepSeek will drive its cost to electricity.
Ambiguity is the life line and where the money is.
- Anything that’s irrational, vibe driven and controversial with no consensus definition of good is worth something.
- If the society all agree on what good looks like for a given task with no ambiguity, it’s worth 0.
- caveat: coming up with verifiable task to do is worth a lot because the ability to come up is not a verifiable task by itself
4 years of engineering teaches you:
- How to pass exams
- How to complete assignments
- How to memorize code before exams
But not:
- How to build a SaaS
- How to get clients
- How to crack real interviews
- How to make your first ₹1 lakh
You can mock Elon Musk and America.
But if there were no American companies in India, we would be working as slaves to Indian boomer capitalists.
They would exploit you to the core.
America is giving a better life to many Indians. Remember that.
As a fellow Indian, and if you're an Indian outside the country, all i can say is don't listen to such posts to come back. You're not going to build anything here. The system will eat you alive. It is meant for mediocrity to thrive. You should remember why you left in the first place. Deal with the racism, but don't come back - my two cents.
