Low Bar Chorale Virtual Chorus: "God Only Knows." 150 singers from over 10 countries joined in harmony to send out a message of love, peace, and the hope of hugging in airports again...someday! https://t.co/nx3BitOLtO
And also SO IMPRESSED that @Fred_Meyer is ALSO helping us stay safe with their "convenient" pickup times: "As soon as April 15" "No available time slots right now." Overpaid CEOs waiting this out while letting the rest of us get sick and die... #fail
SO glad @Safeway is doing their part to help us stay safe. "Next available delivery time: Tuesday, April 14. Next available pick up time: Sunday, April 12." #fail Corporate incompetence at it's best/worst?
@jaycosnett Thank you so much for sharing your kind words about the staff. We understand how frustrating this must've been and apologize deeply for this inconvenience. Our Teams are working diligently towards a resolution for this issue.
Wow, @Safeway Staff at SE Hawthorne in Portland has been great, but all of a sudden being COMPLETELY unable to accept payment by card?? Un-freaking-acceptable!!! How about you dock your absurd #CEOpay and fix your systems!!! #corporatewelfaresucks#taxcorporationsmore
Once again, @trimethelp#FAIL 17, inbound at Cesar Chavez & Holgate, already packed to the gills, refuses more passengers. "There's one right behind me." Earth to driver, 7 minutes in a downpour is not "right behind." What the HECK do we have to do to get decent TRANSIT???
@trimethelp Actually, the bus had broken down and was itself blocking traffic. (To get around the bus, cars had to use the left turn lane, which itself was slowed but people making left turns.) The frustrating part was 1. No transit tracker info, and 2. No replacement bus.
@trimethelp 5. Cut executive salaries, raise the TM tax on higher incomes, cut fares to ZERO, expand service, improve reliability, and get serious. This is BS.
And NOW, one bus is supposed to fit two buses worth of passengers. Instead of dispatching a replacement bus from the Center St. garage, only 5 minutes away!! And still no word from @trimethelp
And now, @trimethelp presents the incredible disappearing bus!!! As if by magic, the bus due at 9:26 has vanished, creating the illusion that the best bus is only 2 minutes late! 😡
@trimethelp 4. There is NO WAY anyone is going to choose transit over driving unless service is FREQUENT and RELIABLE. The future of humanity depends on lowering emissions, which depends on less driving, which depends on better transit.
@trimethelp 3. This is NOT an isolated incident!! This happens ALL THE TIME. Buses are late, later still, then disappear from transit tracker, with no information, no replacement bus. It happens at night, when people are stranded in unsafe situations. It happens in bad weather.
@trimethelp 2. Center St. is 5 minutes from where the bus was stuck. The next bus was 15 minutes behind, and already full. A replacement bus could have actually restored service, rather than expecting one bus to do the job of two.
@trimethelp Thank you for the boilerplate. Now let's get real: 1. An operator informs you *instantly* when there's a problem. Transit tracker should also be updated, so riders know to try another route, or walk, or let someone know they'll be late.
And now, @trimethelp presents the incredible disappearing bus!!! As if by magic, the bus due at 9:26 has vanished, creating the illusion that the best bus is only 2 minutes late! 😡
