Today marks one small step for Movement and one giant leap for Movers. We took this step with initial claims of 10% supply and a float of 22.5% supply and no insider staking to break the toxic meta of “low float high fdv” tokens where insiders farm staking rewards to the detriment of community by going the complete opposite approach, aiming for a high float low fdv token.
As Movers begin to see their eligibilities and either claim their drops or opt for a 1.25x multiplier on tokens, I want to take a moment to highlight and show appreciation to some of our core community members:

And I want to pull back the curtain to share some of the logic of what went into this first step together as a Movement. In a White Swan event, Hype launched one of the most exciting drops in a long time. The tl;dr of this drop is that the network was live for 6 months, users were trading real money, and so it is clear who should receive outsized rewards.
Testnets have historically been difficult to judge who should receive said rewards, even to decide who is real. Building the Parthenon gave us extraordinary insight into the rockstars on the network, alongside taking over 50 Discord roles into account. We have confidence into the various intersecting levels of visibility, and with this are testing the waters.
Rewards can be thought of as rectangles. A rectangle can either be tall and skinny or flat and wide, but it cannot be both. Which is better? As we saw with Hype, having mainnet data (how much money a user has on chain, how much volume / activity, etc) enables you to go very tall and skinny without risk.
Parthenon testnet had an incredible level of engagement and registers. Even after intense screening (9+ filters) we still had an unprecedented level of eligible wallets. The answer became clear: based on this logic, the best thing to do is to first go wide, ensuring everyone has a seat at the table and no Mover is left behind.
So what happens now? The Parable of the Talents comes to mind. A group of people are awarded talents (archaically meaning a unit of weight or money, contemporarily meaning skill or ability) according to their performance. Their award isn’t the end of the story, it’s the start. In the parable who put their talents to use are rewarded again and again, while those whose talents go to waste do not, with those future recognitions going instead to those deemed worthy by the parable.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who participated in Parthenon in all the various ways - holding events, translating content and leading local communities, supporting ecosystem applications via quests, and the many more ways available to get involved. It truly means the world to me to see so much joy in our community, especially in our biggest believers who are building seats at the table alongside us.
Remember: this is an infinite game. And we’re just getting started. Go put your talents to use, earn glory, and LET’S MOVE.

This past week, I had some health issues, so I couldn’t keep up with work.
But it gave me a chance to build a plan and work on a few great things for the future. Hopefully, they’ll be helpful for the Movers Bro
Resource accounts are a pretty cool feature in #Move— they let you manage, organize, and flexibly store assets and objects in Move. Check out what our #DevRel team has to say about it!
In Move, resource accounts are used to ensure certain functions and/or data can be only accessed programmatically. Whether you're building a DEX, NFT marketplace, game, etc., one of the most important things as a builder is being able to ensure to your users that what they see is what they get. (It may be election season but this is not stopping the Movement team from shipping.)
