I never looked into NIPSCO. I do know they aren’t on the IEDC board. Likely a partner of IEDC/AIM, I haven’t looked.

I agree there’s corruption. I’m more interested in how they get away with it and ending it.

But essentially the nonprofit just has to prove it serves public interest with full documentation, proof of fair market deal, insider cannot be involved in the process, & public benefit outweighs private. Unfortunately there’s exceptions to that. I’m all for taking the nonprofits down don’t get me wrong, but the loopholes are there. The system was designed broken to begin with and allows corruption to flow freely.

A judge stating “not a state agency” is not the same as being declared a private entity. The ruling was strictly contract claims. So it holds no weight to status.
