I was stating that, Airbnb owners are clearly delusional. Hotels have slide since Covid & the response was Airbnb but now I see lot more rebranding efforts in my travel. I’ve 75% of the time have used corporate lodging means. So we stick to brands usually. The 25% I was receiving full per diem I traveled so cheap. I would sleep in my car on travel days if I could get away with it. 🤣
I actually agree with the hosts here that the guests should clean after themselves after they leave. That should be the bare minimum. I don’t use Airbnb regularly but that last times I did I cleaned because it’s a personal residential property that belongs to someone and you need to respect it.
As a landlord I expect my tenants to leave the unit spotless after they move out. I actually expect my tenants to pay a cleaning company so they clean for them and show proof of receipt. Otherwise I’m deducting the costs of deep cleaning from their security deposit.
I set my expectations very clearly in the lease agreement
@TomTHEDogiecoin@1776stickers@rawsalerts Actually once you put it up on the site, it’s not your home. It’s your business. That’s the issue, people are paying for a service. The service side decided let’s do less and make more. The market responded.
Climate change killed 32,000+ people in Europe this summer.
Trump believes this crisis is a "hoax." Republicans in Congress are following their "Great Leader.”
NO to Trump’s fossil fuel agenda. YES to creating millions of jobs by moving our energy system away from fossil fuels.
It’s more of a “someone has been cooking the books” problem. A large segment of the u.s. population is checked out of the “American dream” nor are they investing in anything. Watch @sircalebhammer shows. That metric of society is larger than anyone wants to admit & growing.
Boomers bought $300k home at 2.75% mortgage.
Gen Z buying same house for $800k with 6.7% mortgage.
Stop calling this a home-buying problem.
It’s an interest-rate problem.
I never thought I would type these words: my campaign for US ambassador to Greece is being taken seriously.
According to public reporting, it seems like my main competition is Jennifer Aniston? Seriously.

Interesting take. Tell us more on the support for the Clinton’s again? A lot of mystery suicide going around on both whistleblowers not to mention the prosecution of such. I see where all the G.W. Bush love comes from. 🤘🏼
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.
Ya because everyone that saw that immediately thought:
“omg this would be so useful in my daily life”
Definitely not:
“holy fuck that car just did a kickflip”
@duchenne@Teslaconomics Oh so no real production model those yet. Just some more buzz. Also you sound like AI. Isn’t that original investment worth almost 3x now on the S&P? Isn’t also true the premium line like being shown is for invite only?
We should really be talking about energy diversity. Nuclear, Renewable, on demand natural gas. Supply & Demand. Drive supply up, prices come down. That’s the diversification the federal government should have been propagandizing.
🚨 STARSHIP IS THE BIGGEST ROCKET HUMANITY HAS EVER BUILT
Standing 124 meters tall, Starship towers over everything before it.
It is taller than the legendary Saturn V that took us to the Moon and a full 54 meters taller than Falcon 9.
What makes it truly extraordinary is that SpaceX is building it to be fully and rapidly reusable.
The sheer scale of what Elon and the team are achieving is absolutely insane.
@GallagherPreach@PriteshSMB 🙏 preach it. Brands & operators have consistently been falling. & it’s very noticeable from traveling from 2012 to current.
