In collaboration with @radius_xyz , Orakle has published a data-driven look at arbitrage profitability on @Optimism .
A few observations:
1. Arbitrage profit shows a strong positive correlation with DEX trading volume, whereas its correlation with liquidity is very weak.
2. Arbitrage profit can increase when DEX trading volume is high, after L2 fee reductions, and by paying a sufficiently high max priority fee.
3. Arbitrage involving pools across two or more different DEXs generates approximately 10 times more profit than arbitrage within a single DEX pool.
4. The top 10 tokens and pools with the highest arbitrage profits primarily include WETH, USDC, DAI, and governance token.
We hope these numbers give protocols and searchers a clearer benchmark for their own work.

[Orakle Cosmos Ecosystem Day #2] @injective Deep Dive: Key Takeaways from @chuhanVcrypto Developer Session
Injective isnโt "just another Layer 1", it positions itself as the base layer for next-generation finance. Chuhan opened by reframing the project as "a blockchain built for finance", then mapped out the capabilities that back up that claim.
1. Performance that matches real-world finance
- Sub-second finality (~0.82 s) and a 25 k TPS ceiling via a customized Tendermint core deliver payment-system speed without sacrificing security.
- Near-zero gas fees for end users; dApp teams can even waive gas entirely while paying only a token amount for contract operations.
2. A battery-included module stack
Injective exposes production-ready modules through its SDK so builders can ship quickly instead of rebuilding primitives:
- Exchange / Order-Book Module: central-limit order book with built-in MEV resistance.
- Binary Options & Perpetuals: derivatives out of the box.
- Oracle Module: Chainlink feeds pre-integrated.
- Bridge Module: native Ethereum, Solana and IBC asset transfers.
- WasmX (โsmarter smart contractsโ): scheduled/automatic execution.
- Auction Module: fee buy-and-burn, driving a deflationary INJ economy.
- Shared Liquidity: orders placed on one Injective DEX can auto-match across others, solving the โcold-startโ problem for new venues.
3. Multi-VM vision: EVM today, SVM next
Recognising that EVM is still developersโ default, Injective is rolling out a native EVM that eliminates its traditional pain points:
- Same sub-second finality and near-zero gas as Wasm contracts.
- Pre-compiles let Solidity contracts call Injective modules directly (order book, shared liquidity, etc.).
- Cosmos Wasm โ๏ธ EVM interoperability means you can split heavy compute into Wasm and keep business logic in Solidity; best of both worlds.
SVM support is on the roadmap, with the goal of offering builders an "any-VM" playground on a single chain.
4. Real-world assets via iAssets
Injectiveโs iAssets framework tokenises real equities; Tesla, Nvidia and McDonaldโs stocks already trade on Helix, with Meta and more coming. Stocks settle on-chain, trade gas-free and benefit from Injectiveโs shared order-book liquidity; positioning the chain as a gateway for institutional-grade RWA flows.
5. Developer experience & ecosystem growth
- CLI + Docker samples let you store and instantiate CW-20 contracts in minutes; Chuhan walked through the full flow live.
- Private EVM testnet is open to devs (contact the Injective team in Telegram for RPC details and faucet).
- Active incubation: AI-Agent Hackathon (100 k prize pool) just wrapped; more builder days across Korea, Hong Kong and NYC this year.
- U.S. regulatory engagement and institutional partnerships aim to scale TVL organically rather than via yield-farm dilution.
Why it matters?
Injective marries DeFi-centric features (order books, derivatives, Oracle feeds) with the low latency, cost profile and cross-chain composability required to replicate; and improve upon; traditional markets. By blending Wasm, a turbo-charged EVM and forthcoming SVM support, it offers a single settlement layer where any developer persona can deploy.
Call to action
- Fork the CW-20 example, compile with CosmWasm-optimizer:0.16.1, store it, and instantiate on Injective testnet.
- Join the Injective Dev Telegram, request EVM testnet access, and experiment with Solidity contracts that tap into native order-book liquidity.
- Keep an eye on upcoming RWA launches and Asia-focused hackathons for new integration opportunities.
Always interesting listening to the fellas from @Mysten_Labs explain why @SuiNetwork tek is so far ahead of the pack. Cheers and welcome to Korea @nikos_sui@a_xydas@theharrisonkim ๐ฐ๐ท
I'm not a dev myself but after hearing how the @Mysten_Labs have a built a no-compromise confidential computing stack in @WalrusProtocol, Seal and Nautilus, I'm looking forward to seeing the kinds of use cases that could come out of it.
Great to also finally meet up with CT frens @NickCryptoDope and @claireorlarice! ๐ซถ Also enjoyed chatting with @jjonlydown about his role in the region.
Thanks also to @Orakle_KAIST for putting this event together โ venue was perfect, food was on point and everything flowed.

[Orakle Cosmos Ecosystem Day #1] Keynote Recap
Josh AKA @dogemos (@keplrwallet & @osmosiszone Co-Founder)
Last month's Orakle Cosmos Ecosystem Day at @merkle_alliance opened with a high-energy 70-minute session from Josh, making the case for why the "Cosmos way" still matters in a multichain 2025.
1. From Nature to Networks
- Evolution = chaosโก๏ธ specialization โก๏ธ order.
- Bees pick hexagons, Shinkansen tunnels carve the wind; app-chains should likewise optimize form for function.
- Cosmos mirrors that: start messy, branch into highly tuned blockchains rather than force everything through one VM.
2. Killing the Fat-Protocol Thesis
- 2016 pitch: value accrues to L1s. Reality (30-day protocol revenues): top 10 earners are apps (Tether, GMX, etc.) while ETH ranks #11, SOL #27.
- Lesson: L1 rent extraction is thinning; application layers & distribution layers capture the upside.
3. Cosmos Defined (4 lenses)
- Philosophy/Architecture: App-specific chains, inevitable multichain world, native interoperability (IBC).
- Ecosystem: Tens of independent chains that happen to share tooling.
- Tech Stack: CometBFT consensus, Cosmos-SDK state machine, IBC transport; optional CosmWasm/EVM modules.
- Cosmos Hub: A chain, not the chain; now focusing on cross-ecosystem bridging services.
4. Why App-Chains Win
- Gas Freedom: Osmosis whitelists USDC, wETH, OSMO (or any token via governance) as fee tokens; no "ETH or bust" UX traps.
- Protocol-Owned MEV: On-chain arb module back-runs user trades, burned/redistributed $2.4 M last year. Top-of-block auction built into the chain, not an external mempool.
- Composable Validator Services: Validators can bundle price oracles, bridge relays, even host front-endsโturning passive infra into active micro-services.
5. Pain Points He Doesn't Hide
- Fragmentation โก๏ธ dev & UX friction; wallets like Keplr shoulder the stitching.
- Easy chain launches mean not every team is ready for 1000 cc "motorcycle" ops; governance, upgrades, validator wrangling are hard.
- Network effects still favor EVM tooling; Cosmos must court EVM devs or double down on distinct advantages.
- IBC v1 purity (light-client only) limited reach; v2 embraces zk-proofs to bridge L1s that can't run light clients.
6. Strategic Bets Ahead
- Lean into distribution layer (wallets, aggregators) as the new kingmakersโPhantom proved it, Keplr is next.
- Elevate Cosmos-SDK-with-EVM as a superior "app-rollup" alternative to generic L2s.
- Solve value capture transparently (ATOM alignment, shared security, fee capture) to avoid repeating 2021 Terra-era missteps.
7. Market Outlook
Dogemos' tongue-in-cheek: "Ethereum is replaying Cosmos' 2019 in slow motion; we've already learned those lessons." Expect Cosmos chains to ship fixes ~2 years sooner.
Cosmos isn't a single coin or chain; it's a toolbox + ideology that puts product first, protocol second. In a world where users chase experiences, not consensus logos, dogemos argues that app-chains with tailor-made economics, UX-centric fee models, and protocol-owned revenue streams will outpace monolithic L1s and generic rollups.
Stay tuned: the cowboys of crypto are saddle-broken, battle-tested, and aiming for the next frontier of modular, profit-capturing infrastructure.
