Something all socialists need to understand. People don’t just sit around and get abused. They leave and now you lose all their income and their innovation. Double whammy
🇬🇧 The recent capital gains tax increase in the UK was expected to bring additional tax revenue.
Instead, high-net-worth individuals and families are leaving the country leading to an 18% fall in net capital gains tax revenue. A £2.7b loss.
Welcome to the Laffer curve, suckers.

Honestly, I feel sad for people who deliberately choose not to have kids, especially because they think it’ll ruin their lives.
It’s incredibly hard but it’s also by far the most incredible life experience. Nothing comes close to raising your own kids and watching them turn into their own little person as they get older.
Seriously the best
- Lazy people can chase something for a day.
- Motivated people can chase something for a few weeks or months.
But Obsessed people chase forever, and that's why they always rise to the top.
This is awesome. 🇺🇸

“Today, Tesla factories can produce new cars in a minute. Meanwhile, our defense industrial base measures progress in decades. This isn’t about efficiency — it’s about survival.”
Meet Michael Lusgarden.
At 51, he's reversed his biological age by 21 years while being a single dad and living in a 700 square foot apartment.
His secret isn't being rich or having expensive gadgets.

In the past week on social media, I have learned that:
- 401(k)s are a scam
- Emergency funds are a waste
- Everyone need permanent life insurance
- That anyone can trade options and make a ton of money
- That using leverage in investing is the best move for everyone
Be careful who you are listening to
The most unsettling part of people applauding a 24+ hour speech is that they sincerely believe talking counts as doing something.
Then again, that mindset explains a lot about how corporate culture works.
You must avoid analysis paralysis at all costs.
You have to realize that many decisions in both life and business are simply educated guesses.
You don't have all of the info, you can't get all of the info, and you will never have all of the info needed to make the "right" call every time.
I've seen very intelligent folks who can't make a decision to save their lives because they wait and wait and wait until they have what they think is "all" of the information needed to make a decision.
They are used to turning a few pages back in their textbook and looking up the answer.
Life doesn't work like that!
You're forced to make gut decisions with incomplete information all of the time.
Embrace it and don't over-think it.
Move fast.
Nothing kills an organization like a leader who makes slow decisions.
