Oakland Observer confirmed for the third month running yesterday that OPD has not executed a Flock contract. That means Oakland is not locked into Flock and could end its ALPR if Council rescinds authorization. For some reason, other news orgs don't want you to know this
@Biff234523@Friesein@DonEford THANK YOU - saw this & raced to Richmond, CA - family got shots one day before an international trip (Yes we will still mask)!
SO grateful to everyone for sharing this info.
The kind pharmacist asked me to spread the word that he has more!
@Biff234523@PhyllisG123@DonEford But do we expect shots to be available in Spring 2026? My family did our first series of three, but then couldn’t get the fall 2024 shots before all the doses expired…now I feel like we should grab two doses of this version two months apart (if we can even get them at all)..?
@DonEford@sanofi@Novavax …especially since we are traveling out of the country for the first 2 weeks in Oct. So higher exposure as well as concerns about missing what inventory could actually roll out while we are gone.
@DonEford@sanofi@Novavax I’m getting nervous about the risk to my family of holding out for our beloved Novavax, but really don’t want to go back to Moderna….
(Berkeley) Looking for Novavax? Available at the CVS at 1414 University Ave., inside the Target, as of 3/27 (walk-ins were accepted as of that date, and per the pharmacist, they had lots of doses available). The expiration date is 3/31. Pharmacy phone #: 510-647-3873.
#Oakland If you think it is unfair for @KTVU to air a Mayoral debate that is cosponsored by an organization that has already made endorsement for one of the candidates, please RT and ask them to postpone and air with an unbiased sponsor. #oakmtg
