@9mmsmg I've been on Whoop since the beginning. Quit a couple of times, but always came back. For sleep, it's excellent. Its recovery score seems most accurate. HR during exercise is the weakest feature, but you can wear it on better pickup points for that.
I've quit whoop for the competition multiple times. Always come back. Yeah the HR reads high with too much motion, but it still beats all the others. Yeah it's too expensive and google can buy their way in. But hopefully for them someone knows someone who does more than count steps.
@9mmsmg Echoing the disappearing diet cravings. I'm eating something right now that I wouldn't eat before, but don't care. It was in the freezer and it fit my macros that I needed. I think I even ate the peas I couldn't see.
Occam's razor - The most obvious answer is the answer, not the answer than makes your last wrong answer look less wrong. Turn the sound on, and you'll hear that either he ran over a goose that we can't see, or hit the front brakes while out over the drops and did an endo. That or ask a mountain biker what happened...
I literally just read my devops bot handling of a production pagerduty alert response to memory pressure from unusual api traffic. When we let it do its suggestions itself, Iβll be able to sleep in. No layoffs but the predictions are not hype. Schema migration is a tough problem, but 6-8 month SOWs are prime for targets for agentic acceleration
@tdarling1 lol That is the lamest block Iβve seen. His whole value is trying to convince real fans like you are slow to accept π. πfans like me learned this long ago before mou who could not see talent through bad training
@drmarlonperalta Itβs not all willpower. What about the other metabolic benefits? Reta can rewire other pathways with sodium regulation, psns/sns, insulin, impacting sleep, blood pressure and general health as well as simply burning fat.
@ThomasSowell@stephenasmith Totally agree with the rant on @KeithOlbermann and his tired act, but the "cartoon character" thing kinda hit me as you were mid-stride on that verbal take down. Not in a bad way, but he might not be all wrong...
I'm hardly an olympic class athlete, but did pretty much everything with no ACL from 19 until about 50. It was loose, and you could hear it knocking around sometimes, and I'd get a pretty big bone bruise snowboarding, but it doesn't hurt and you learn to work around it. With @lindseyvonn 's talent and leg strength, she can easily manage it, and probably be taking no more risk than the brave women 20 spots lower in the rankings going 10/10ths.
I grew up with my mom wanting me to go to Kings Point. I've had 5 kids go to 7 colleges, and the gap between the quality of the students and the infrastructure is highest at Maine MMA. Solid students from regular families with borrowed ships and minimal support, compared to helicopter parents at near-country club level colleges put out average office workers and an occasional entrepreneurial lottery winner. The alumni are great, but they don't have millions to dump into endowments. The schools need some support.
@michaeljburry After a week of 7am mornings standing in my sweats in sub 10*F yard throwing a ball to my lab, I really want a robot and $30k would be a bargain.
