@kesleeman Given that no-one really knows when someone will die, and that what is suffering to one will be bearable for another, I’m not sure it is possible to be 100% on this
@andrewcopson@PaulBrandITV Isn’t there something missing here which is the question why did he not want to tell his family? Conversations about this beforehand are crucial I think

Bloody Love this , round our way old git GPs and wonderful district nurses often take on this role. Common sense is not found or protocol driven, it is learnt by experience. Humanity requires human responses . Pissed Stick https://t.co/GpOUgLL588 via @ComplexWales
Lots of people get muddled between the term executor and power of attorney. But if you remember a POA is god while you’re still alive (but incapacitated) and the executor (of your will) is for after you’re dead, then you’ll be on track. POA before death, Executor after.
Without wanting to be rude that's a very common fundamental misunderstanding (hence worth quote retweeting to help others too).
Power of attorney is there to give someone ability to manage your affairs and finances if you lose your faculties. Without your son would need apply to the difficult, court of protection to take over if you lost faculties, which takes far too long and is very expensive often leaving people in a nightmare limbo
I love #JoinIn.
It's a spontaneous on-line companionship on Christmas day, started by the fabulous @SarahMillican75 14 years ago.
You don't have to be alone to feel lonely.
On your own, or surrounded by people who don't 'get' you?
Then #JoinIn 🎄
Everyone welcome.

@carolvorders … can someone explain, having watched the documentary on #Partygate, how is it that ordinary members of the public get fines of £10k to £14.5k for breaking covid laws, yet Boris Johnson & his associates get fines of £50 each!!
For me, that stinks of high level corruption.!
Watch #Partygate@Channel4 right now, record it..
Play it on loop until the General Election
Never forget the disdain with which this govt treated the vulnerable, the elderly, the children, the lonely, those who died alone.
While their "associates" profited from VIP Lane deals
Well done to channel 4 for showing the realities of #Partygate by showing the contrast of the parties with stories of what real people were going through. What a disturbingly disgusting but necessary watch
How is it possible to have had the worst day in terms of grief when in such a beautiful place? Because he should be here that’s why. I don’t want to be doing any of this without him. It’s unbearable.
Well done & thank you, @BBCWomansHour.
There's so much work to do, to help us all know more & be less afraid about dying.
