You just take Ave c to 14th street or 4th street. At most 2 minutes of driving. Manhattan has more pavement than anywhere and most people don’t drive.

Meanwhile children in the neighborhood will not have to worry about getting hit by a car on their way to the park and it’s way better for biking

To be clear, restaurants and pedestrians are entitled for thinking they should be allowed to do that? Should we really feel pity for cars owners who have to add 15 seconds to their commute?

@Hamncheze22 @Grime69420 @the_transit_guy Both sides of the street. People stand in the middle of the street with a beer talking to people drinking beer from other bars. It’s great. Cars can use any other street during that time but it is much better off as a pedestrian only place on weekend evenings. Go see it!
