1/ I spent the last 12ish hours digging into the Philadelphia Eagles’ media cycles.
I found a recurring pattern that dates back 3 years.
Whenever Nick Sirianni’s job security is threatened, a Jalen Hurts "character hit piece" drops within 48 hours.
The receipts. 🧵👇
Shocking that the same demographic that makes up WIP hosts likes the type of player who doesn’t get on base, doesn’t play any defense, and openly mocks the advanced stats that could’ve helped him be a better player.
Shocking, I tell you.
ESP on the Phillies releasing Nick Castellanos:
"I can't sit here today and celebrate the release of a guy that over the past few years, has arguably been their most clutch postseason hitter, and their biggest issue on the team is hitting in the postseason."
Survived Chip Kelly’s firing but couldn’t survive whatever disfunction is going on in the a Philly locker room right now.
Something is not right in a typically well-run organization.
Philadelphia,
I’ve decided my time coaching with the Eagles has come to an end.
When I arrived here in 2013, I did not know what I was signing up for. I quickly learned what this city demands. But more importantly, what it gives back.
The past 13 years have been the great privilege of my coaching career. I didn’t just work here, I became one of you.
Stout out
Siriani, ironically hired for his playcalling abilities, has turned out to be a fantastic leader of men.
His success and failures come at the mercy of his coordinators, who have come and gone to mixed reviews over the years.
Luckily he has one great one now.
The Eagles have started 8-2 or better through 10 games for the fourth season in a row. That is the longest streak in franchise history. Nick Sirianni is the first coach in the Super Bowl era to have four starts like that in his first five years as head coach.
Nick is 11-0 against the NFC North as head coach of the Eagles. Best record without a loss against any division by any team since Nick took over his coach.
if you did not pick up that this is sarcasm you are a fucking idiot. there is no debate. you are a low IQ human and will fall victim to darwinism one day.

•Commanders get an easy 3rd down sack bc of miscommunication on offensive line by Jurgens replacement.
•Sack pushes the FG out of range
•Missed FG gives Commaners great field position.
•Field position leads to touchdown.
Other stuff has to happen but it’s all connected.
Someone tell Chris Collinsworth it doesn’t take “guts” to take the ball out of Saquon Barkley’s hands under 3 minutes with a 6 point lead.
It takes stupidity.
Collinsworth is WEAK: "it took a lot of guts to take the ball out of Saquon's hands on 2nd down"
call it like it is
DUMBO coaching by Sirianni
pretty sure Aikman & Buck call it out
normalize announcers criticizing dumb coaching, it's ok, you can do it
