Surgery Update: It went great, all the medical staff were awesome to me. In fact I got to talk to one of Russ's old nurses from when he was in the neuro icu. I'm feeling really good post surgery but am resting mostly.

@JesseThorn My husband has severe nerve damage which makes it it difficult/ impossible to walk or stand for very long. When he uses a wheelchair in public and then stands up and walks briefly, people can be really rude about it. They often accuse him of “faking”. 🤷‍♀️
