@Peter_Fitz@therandomswill We make the bridge “fare il ponte” in Italy too but it’s when the public holiday doesn’t fall on Monday or Friday…you make the bridge by taking extra leave on the Monday to bridge from the weekend. So you want last Tuesday or Thursday in January 😜

@richardrglover I wonder if the difference is that the Lord’s supper is a repeated thing whereas baptism (for most people 😅) is a once off… so people like to wait to celebrate that in company? This is just a guess, and if so it would be a pragmatic decision rather than a theological one
