Therefore I'm very interested in why @BBCPanorama chose to single out ADHD, and also ignored ALL the reasons why so many people are out there seeking assessment, and that is because the NHS is failing to deal with this issue and provide safe, timely, appropriate assessments.
It lacked nuance and balance. In my work I meet SO MANY neurodivergent people who have been badly failed by the NHS, especially women and genderqueer folks, so this is not a simple case of NHS = good, private = bad.
