UNDER INTERNATIONAL LAW, UNITED STATES OF BIAFRA IS A SOVEREIGN NATION

To redeclare / restore an old nation like Biafra, international law does NOT require you to create a new nation from scratch. You are restoring a nation that already existed.

Requirements to Restore Biafra which USB Did in Lahti November 29th, 2024

1. Proof that the old nation existed as a state before

- Biafra did. Declared May 30, 1967 by Ojukwu, with constitution, government, army, currency, 5 countries recognized it (Tanzania, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Zambia, Haiti). It existed until Jan 1970.

2. Proof that it was never legally dissolved

- Biafra never signed a treaty of dissolution. Never did referendum to join Nigeria. It was only militarily occupied in 1970 after war. Occupation does not extinguish statehood. This is same as Poland under Nazis, Baltic States under USSR (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) — they were occupied for 50 years but restored without needing permission.

3. The People still exist and still want it

- You need a defined people (Biafrans). And they must show continued will. That is what our self-referendum Feb-Nov 2024 did — 50 million voted YES as EXTRA evidence of will, but legally not mandatory. The will can be shown by declaration.

4. Territory

- You need to define the territory of the old nation. For Biafra, it is the former Eastern Region territory - the 40 States of Biafra Map (attached).

5. Effective Government ready to restore

- Montevideo Convention 1933 criteria:
a) Permanent population
b) Defined territory
c) Government: USB Cabinet, 40 States governors, Mission Heads, Envisioned Elite, Commissioners.
d) Capacity to enter foreign relations
- USB now has Government in Homeland (with Dr. Orabueze as the DPM), Government in Exile, 40 states structure, constitution, map, declaration of restoration Nov 29, 2024 Lahti as United States of Biafra, Christian Nation.

6. Redeclaration / Restoration Proclamation

- A formal declaration that we are restoring, not seceding. This is what BRGIE / USB did on Nov 29, 2024 in Lahti, Finland. We declared our RESTORATION.

7. International notification

- Send the restoration declaration to UN, foreign governments (over 200 foreign governors and international organizations have USB documents), and get at least one legislative recognition — State of São Paulo Motion No. 186 of 2026 AFFIRMS USB UN right to self-determination. Verification code 2026.05.28.2.1.16.9.33.1880777. Some other countries also did.

So, referendum is NOT required to restore an old nation. Referendum is required when you want to CREATE a new nation from an existing country (like South Sudan).

But to restore a nation that was occupied, you only need to redeclare.

That is why people like Rachael Nwosu and those Biafra Nigeria Agents misleading her and neighboring Nigeria are misguided — they think like secession law.

ALERT: TINUBU’S “INTELLECTUAL JIHAD” HAS REACHED THE CLASSROOM GATE

Nigeria is deciding RIGHT NOW what this generation of children will learn. Under a new national system taking effect this month, textbooks are being assessed and ranked, with only the highest-ranked approved books authorized for public schools. The government says just six to ten titles per subject will ultimately make the cut, with approved books remaining in place for at least three years.

And President Bola Tinubu put Professor Salisu Shehu at the head of NERDC, the federal curriculum agency at the center of this process.

Shehu is one of Nigeria’s leading academic champions of "The Islamization of Knowledge." He literally wrote the manifesto – Islamization of Knowledge: Conceptual Background, Vision and Tasks.

Shehu writes his own creed in these words: “Islamization of knowledge is an intellectual Jihad.”

His manifesto describes Islamization as a “radical intellectual revolutionary exercise,” approvingly cites a “radical intellectual war” against the dominance of Western, secular thought in universities and institutions of learning, and calls for overhauling educational content “right from nursery schools up to the Universities.”

Now this man who spent his academic career advancing that philosophy runs NERDC while Nigeria is choosing the books.

RIGHT NOW is the tipping point.

Shehu's philosophy can be honestly summarized as this: Western education is forbidden.

In Hausa, that's translated to: boko harm.

Shehu is literally Nigeria's top scholar of that worldview. And thanks to Tinubu, he's in charge of what Nigerian children will be learning long into the future.

(To be clear: I know of no direct connection between Shehu and the boys in the bush. The connection is philosophical. Shehu’s own battlefield is intellectual: knowledge, education and institutions. I doubt the end results will be any different.)

I’ve been digging into the curricula and History materials looking for evidence that Shehu has already delivered his Islamization project through NERDC. So far, I have not found evidence of a wholesale Islamization of Nigeria’s secular curriculum. Yet. THIS current process is where that can happen.

A philosophy shapes a standard. A standard shapes a scoring rubric. The rubric chooses a textbook. The textbook teaches generations of children. And those children eventually become Nigeria. On track to be the world's third largest nation by 2050.

NERDC says even previously approved textbooks must be resubmitted under the new standards, with the assessment process covering primary through senior secondary education in three phases.

The time to scrutinize this is NOW — before the books land on your children’s desks — not after.

MISLEADING INFORMATION FROM DOS 4th ADMINISTRATION AT BIAFRA PRISONS AND TERRITORY

It has come to the attention of the United States of Biafra (USB) Government in Homeland that some individuals parading themselves as DOS IPOB Organization 4th Administration went to visit some detained Indigenous Biafrans at prisons in Biafra territory (video attached).

Reports reaching the USB Government confirm that these DOS 4th Administration agents told the Biafrans in jail that Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will conduct another Referendum for them. They lied to them that the Referendum already conducted by PM Simon Ekpa from February 2024 to November 2024 is not valid.

The USB citizens inside a particular prison ignored the DOS agents and informed them that the USB New Christian Nation is already declared and there will not be any other Referendum in Biafra territory. In that prison, the DOS 4th administration agents ended up giving assistance to only 5 individuals (3 of whom have also reported to me the breakdown of the assistance).

I wish to use this opportunity to tell Biafrans both in and outside prisons in the 40 States of Biafra and Nigeria to please disregard the DOS 4th Administration talk on Referendum.

Onyendu has not told them anything about Referendum. PM Simon Ekpa has completed that PROCESS. USB is now activating the final process to our recognition and territorial control.*

MNK did not say he will do another referendum. He is in detention. Those promoting this in his name are misleading USB citizens and some international bodies. Do not take them serious. Any talk of Referendum for Biafra people is coming from the neighboring Nigeria terrorist state and their delegitimized politicians in Biafra territory.

We already completed our self-referendum in 2024 and declared USB on November 29, 2024 in Lahti (referendum - declaration video attached).
