Having been on the receiving end of a >$30K surprise bill that we spent over a year fighting, I’m hopefully folks won’t have to go through this in the future. It’s nuts it’s taken so long to pass this! @NYTimes https://t.co/i61gcbj0Cz
I love this story about @toasttab’s contrarian bet on Android to use the technology to build a true PoS and #FinTech ecosystem for restaurants. Fortune favors the bold! https://t.co/4rMbV8f8Jg
@ekp They did at least pay generously. I’m unaware of any other co’s that size w profit share to such a broad set of employees. Even Wall St firms aren’t as generous. https://t.co/esxekCSYP1
@jakemcgraw @sarahkliff So dead on. It’s amazingly opaque. I submitted our bill $$$ to @nytimes for our 1st child which took 2Y to sort out & cost over $50K for a vaginal birth w >$7K coming out of pocket. It took us over a year just to correct them when they tried to bill us as out of network!
A lot of stories I read follow this @nytimes script, but I’m more curious now that #tech jobs are accessible no matter where you live what that means for the #futureofwork and #startups. Feels like we won’t know for another few years. https://t.co/z82cvE3BgL
We’re still in the very early innings of the development of API’s to unlock payroll data to drive 401K, income verification and other use cases. Payroll data is still really hard to unlock. It’s going to be a game changer for a ton of industries. https://t.co/NLyjZoPdoH
@anothercohen@ericbahn I found - After 100 days, it gets better. After 6 months, it starts to get fun. By age 1, its a blast. I’m now one week into my second child 👶 though…so feel ya.
#401k providers and #advisors have had to disclose their fees for years in the 5500. It’s not perfect, but has led to remarkable changes in fees. In #healthcare, we deserve that same transparency. https://t.co/u0HFztHDMg
