@hutcheese Oh 100% mate don’t get me wrong I loved having a net in my backyard and trying to recreate goals I seen throughout the day but as soon as I switched to a medicine ball and playing against a wall, that was the difference
Amount of videos I see of a toddler kicking a ball as hard as they can towards a net and people react saying ‘he’ll make it to the top’ NO! This toddler here is going to the top, 100’s and 100’s of touches every day is why he’ll make it
No child should be specialising at that age. Play as many sports as possible and ~14/15 then start to specialise with all of the skills you’ve gained through those years in those different sports.
If you put your kid in this “training” at 7yo it is nothing more than a fancy daycare
At 7-14yo your kid doesn’t need training or to specialize in a sport. They need to be a kid.
Play multiple sports. Play pickup sports with their friends outside. Not every waking moment needs to be scheduled for kids.
If you disagree with me then go listen to all the pro athletes who say the same thing
