@CJS_POSTS@B00mB00mLife 141 will be Ono or blaze. And if it’s Desmond he will absolutely AA. Also mirasola has a better than 50% chance to AA with all the seniors moving on. 174 Jayden James. Not saying PSU will run away w it but def some holes in your argument
@ReaganChoate Not your fault. You’re doing what you’re taught. But you can clearly see your COG vs bar path you’d fall backwards if he wasn’t there. Strong kid just have a better coach
@dpolehn When you’re at that weight a rep progression system will help more than weight progression. I only say this bc you said you failed 2 weeks in a row. Good luck!
@StrengthDebates Is the only difference between this and BB high pull the starting location? I’ve always just called these high pull whether w BB or single DBs
@StrengthDebates I always say it’s the body’s natural curve(kyphosis). As long as there’s not extreme movement DURING the lift I’ve never seen an issue w it. The amount of people that have told me I round too much when it’s exactly how KK deadlifted. Even w 225 my back doesn’t feel right “flat”
@StrengthDebates I love giving 1-2 BANA or overload ecc once or twice a week. I see no issue on accessory movements used wisely. If they are of benefit it’s a win, and if they’re not they add some nice variety with no real downside. My .02
@DeanTTraining@Brownscape I’ll chime in with the only way their type of training would be good is to reduce their reps to 5-6, and keep the rest short for heavy cluster sets. Not all training needs to be 3 minutes of rest. Heavy clusters if done correctly are money
@mboyle1959 He’s not wrong at all. But allowing the athlete to modify it into a slight harrop curl while doing their best to only allow knee ext is a great teaching tool to allow them to experience some success 👍
@StrengthDebates Underrated? Dear god this, well pendlay row, is my main horizontal movement. Have times changed that much in 25 years? What do people do that actually want a big back besides this and deadlift??
@StrengthDebates Front rack box squat 3/4 depth. Hands down one of the best. Angles are the same and you can take the SSC out of it. Load is in front of the body
@mboyle1959 Personally see no issue as long as the force-velocity curve is being used completely. So a person inc their 1rm on squat, and another +20lb to their rfe 8rm. Both can be of benefit as long as the rest of the programming is sound.
@landon_tengwall Front load 25% carbs preworkout, 75% postworkout. Another meal protein and fats 3 hours later then don’t eat again until pre lift meal. Easiest way I’ve found
