@Budget Thank you! We have been able to resolve this issue on our own. During the emergency evacuation your service agent was of ZERO help. We decided to do what we had to do, leave - regardless of authorization. The next day, we were able to reach a helpful agent who resolved our issue

@bgoranson @ianhanomansing @Budget We reached someone in customer service today at Budget today and they changed our reservation to update the new drop-off and then waived our one-way fee. That was not the story yesterday. Please call customer service and I hope they will help you.

@GlobalCalgary @Budget Driving in the car today, we finally got someone in customer service at @Budget to change our drop-off and waive the one-way fee. It was so simple and the agent was lovely. What a difference a day makes.

@GlobalCalgary We flew to Kelowna on Thursday for a bball tourney. Cancelled on Friday. Tried to leave in our rental cars to give up space in our hotel and get out safely. @Budget Rental would not allow us a one-way option to drive to Calgary. $2K relocation charge. We left this morning anyway.

@bgoranson @ianhanomansing @Budget We are driving to Wpg too. Budget would not give us any options so we made the decision to be safe. We don’t know what the fee will be when we arrive in Winnipeg. We should stay in touch.

@DudekKim @CTVNews @Budget We have left Kelowna due to the declared State of Emergency. No one from @Budget or @CostcoTravel has been in touch. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We are headed home.

We have been evacuated from Kelowna and @Budget will not authorize us to drive our rental car to Calgary. We are trying to alleviate the resources needed to help the residents in Kelowna by leavinn the atea and @Budget will not help us leave. This is absolutely crazy, scary.
