Today, in a such a divisive society, I am reminded what one can learn from “the sandbox” and that is to be kind, to be respectful, to share, and to be adaptable. I’d be remiss as “the sandbox” is guided by the tenets of human movement and the desire to move and to be playful.
In the inaugural episode of ‘This Was SportsCenter’, Dan Patrick joined the show and told the story of the role he had in the origin of the “This Is SportsCenter” series of commercials… and reveals to us which of his MANY appearances in these commercials was his favorite:
"Managing's really easy when you have really good players and they play well."
Seems like Dusty Wathan had a smooth day managing while Don Mattingly was at his son's graduation.
BREAKING: The New York Times just confirmed reports that Donald Trump's Justice Department tried to cover up reports that indicated Donald Trump assaulted a minor in the 1980s. Wow.
Sen. Gallego: Trump is suing your agency for $10 billion. Where would that $10 billion come from?
Bessent: The general fund
Sen. Gallego: So, taxpayers.
Bessent: Yes
@AdamSchefter This is news. It’s not stunning. it’s the NFL and a collision sport these things happen. It is unfortunate that it had to happen in overtime and in playoff game. Let’s not overreact. As a medical professional, this happens more often than than you think.
Statement from the Nobel Foundation
One of the core missions of the Nobel Foundation is to safeguard the dignity of the Nobel Prizes and their administration. The Foundation upholds Alfred Nobel’s will and its stipulations. It states that the prizes shall be awarded to those who "have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind," and it specifies who has the right to award each respective prize. A prize can therefore not, even symbolically, be passed on or further distributed.

In the current context, we are seeing an actual “short circuit” of #HumanRights. The right to freedom of expression, freedom of conscience, religious freedom, and even the right to life are being restricted in the name of other so-called new rights, with the result that the very framework of human rights is losing its vitality and creating space for force and oppression. This occurs when each right becomes self-referential, and especially when it becomes disconnected from reality, nature, and truth.
Happy Monday. Before we succumb to the amnesia of Trump’s Upside Down World, let’s take a moment to remember what happened five years ago.
Because the shame of that day endures, and its consequences are all around us.

It’s hard to believe a president would time an illegal military attack to distract the public’s attention, but today is the statutory deadline for DOJ to release its report on the Epstein file production. Maybe it is just a coincidence.
It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.
It’s about oil and regime change.
And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from Epstein + skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Underrated life advice: Always take yourself seriously. The way the world treats you is a simple reflection of the way you treat yourself. Always carry yourself like your life matters. Because it does. If you do that, the world will start bending to your reality.
There must be zero tolerance for violence — of any kind — against the brave men and women in uniform who selflessly serve our communities and our country. The shooting of National Guard members in Washington, D.C. is horrific and unacceptable.
Jen and I are praying for the service members, their families, and the entire National Guard community.
BREAKING: New reports say Trump told Zelensky he would cut weapons and intelligence support unless Ukraine accepts a “peace deal” largely written by Putin.
Once again, Trump appears to be exhorting Zelensky for his own political gain, so he can claim to be a “great peacemaker.”
SAD!
