I would only add that my Beagle's best moment was being actually on the table at my nephews 21st, scoffing an entire pavlova - the bastard😂😂 - to howls of indignation and rage from the host. Re-homed now😉
@ElizbethjmSmith Our black lab managed to knock a bowl of turkey stock off a table on Christmas Night once all of us abed. Results on Boxing Day a bit Reservoir Dogs. Still, conspicuous by his absence for the next few Christmas Dinners! They live and learn.
