I used to be in awe of them and it occurred to me that if you have the time and money, almost anything is possible. Not trying to take anything away, it is an accomplishment. But maybe less amazing than I thought. I got a Masters of Science while on Active Duty going Friday nights and Saturdays for a year…not the same as a doctorate in physics but also challenging!
