My friend’s 5 year old daughter has a rare form of Leukaemia and needs a bone marrow donor in 5 weeks. They’re asking for as many people as possible in the UK to register as donors to find a match and are also raising money for treatment. More info below:

@sheredom @SavourySnaX Sorry to hear it, Neil. By interrupted, do you mean you could see it coming? A relative’s dog has similar moments. We can usually tell a minute or so before that he’s about to have a bad spell.

@biovf @thesolidpixel @richgel999 I’ve seen real world workload perf benefits, particularly from packing. As Pete mentioned, spilling is best avoided.

I’ve also seen overzealous usage. A well known mapping app used fp16 incorrectly in their VS. A driver workaround was required, as they refused to fix it :(

@sheredom I’m not so sure. Even when he came on, we failed to create opportunities. Foden & Phillips were putting pressure on, the rest of the team were struggling to break away.
