27 years on, and this is more true than ever
“We need less research, better research, and research done for the right reasons”
By no means limited to medical research.
Are we getting any closer?
So I’m not getting a vaccine next week - was feeling weird about why I’d been selected ahead of others so rang GP to check. Turns out they had my height as 6.2cm rather than 6 ft 2, giving me a BMI of 28,000 😂
I would still raise a glass to 2020, a year reminding us not to give anything for granted and valuing the simplest joys in life - my wish for 2021 is that it will bring us back the freedom to seize the day with renewed awareness.
01- MY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT I will be a lived experience consultant for the reunification of probation in England & Wales through @hmpps Ive always dreamt that one day Id be able to influence real change within the #CJS and I would be able to sit down with the real decision makers
@CEOLewis I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Slater some years ago. He is a bright engaging man who, I am confident, would have appraised ministers fully. @YvetteCooperMP
Blood cancer I have had for four years remains stable. I decided to cease tweeting with the arrival of oaf Johnson and his sycophantic cronies in no 10. Life in rural Devon on Dartmoor with our horses couldn’t be better, but for missing the grandchildren.
Thank you my friend. You are so right, but it was all so obvious, predictable and tragic. What was locally connected is now fully under central command and control and we all know how well that works. Trust you are well. 🤗
@joekuipers Joe I know any pleasure that you may have had at being proved right all along will be more than offset by the despair you feel for all the damage done.
