@DrSimEvans Wow, can't believe they're assuming a deceleration of growth rather than an acceleration! IEA has gotten increasingly better at incorporating S-curve dynamics into their renewable energy projections in the past couple years, but clearly not for EVs.
US EV sales growing from 6% today to 67% in the next 10 years, as the EPA rules imply, is definitely possible. Norway went from 6% EV sales to 86% EV sales in 9 years after incentivizing EVs.
