PhD candidate at the Helmholtz Pioneer Campus. Interested in single cell and spatial transcriptomics, music and philosophy📚. Mastodon: [email protected]
I am excited to present multiplexed Deterministic Barcoding in Tissue (xDBiT)🎊. As an extension of #DBiTseq it allows the generation of #spatial#transcriptomics datasets of nine fixed tissue sections in parallel. Paper finally out on @NatureComms📜https://t.co/DfY0UXjBAa 1/6
We had a lot fun in Heidelberg with the #Singlecell#Spatial & #InSitu community diving into technology & science. We were thrilled to witness the #Xenium data presentation of @johwirth & learn how our latest addition to product portfolio is going to change the world of pathology

We had a fantastic time showcasing our spatial epigenome products at Next Gen Omics US in Boston! It was thrilling to see so much interest in our latest advancements. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and look out for our future products!" #spatialbiology#epigenomics

Delighted to share our latest collab project led by @johwirth with @Meier_Lab. 🤩 #spatial#transcriptomic#DBiTseq

Finally we showed that #xDBiT is compatible with state-of-the-art analysis tools like #MEFISTO or #cell2location to gain more detailed information on the structure of the multidimensional datasets. For this, the #kidney was used as model organ. 5/6
🎓PhD - done ✔️🥳
Many thanks to the @Meier_Lab, @PioneerCampus and @LabWolfrum for supporting me all the way through! It’s been a wonderful and exciting journey - I learned a lot, met inspiring #scientists, and had the most amazing colleagues 🤩🔬🧫💻💃🏼
#Science has to decide whether to stay here and support this or search for alternatives and migrate there. Whether it be @joinmastodon or other platforms. The science community is one of the few groups that has the knowledge and resources to do so!
Why does the #scientific community stay so quiet and goes back to business as usual while Elon Musk uses the platform to support far-right narratives? What he is doing with the „woke“ media is nothing but the reinvention of the old fascist stab-in-the-back myth.
